Terms and Conditions
The Terms and Conditions constitute the contract governing the relationship between Sea View Magazine and its users. These terms are legally binding and are expressly accepted at the time of subscription purchase or registration.
1. General Provisions and Acceptance
Access to the members' portal and the purchase of any editorial product or service implies that the user has read, understood, and accepted these terms in their entirety. Sea View Magazine reserves the right to modify these terms at any time, with such modifications taking effect upon publication on the website.
2. Cancellation Policy and “One Click”
In compliance with Article 76 Bis of the LFPC, Sea View Magazine guarantees that canceling your subscription is as easy as signing up.
- Direct Mechanism: An accessible cancel button has been enabled in the “Manage your account” and “Cancel subscription” sections. No telephone retention processes or lengthy forms are required.
- No Penalties: Cancellation of the service does not entail any additional charges or penalties for early termination.
3. Authorized Use and Intellectual Property
All content hosted on members.seaviewmagazine.com, including but not limited to text, photographs, infographics, videos, logos, and editorial designs, is the exclusive property of Sea View Magazine or is licensed for use.
- License Agreement: The subscriber receives a limited license to view the content for personal, non-commercial use.
- Prohibiciones: It is strictly prohibited to reproduce, distribute, modify, resell, or use the content of the magazine for commercial purposes without the express written permission of the editorial management.
- Site Integrity: Users agree not to carry out denial-of-service attacks, code injection, or any activity that compromises the stability of the member portal.
4. Procedure for Exercising ARCO Rights
Any subscriber may request control over their personal data by sending a written request to the official support email address. The request must comply with the requirements of Article 29 of the LFPDPPP:
- Identification: Name of the account holder and documents proving their identity (INE, passport) to prevent identity theft.
- Clear description: Specify which right you wish to exercise (e.g., correction of mailing address or account cancellation).
- Response within the Legal Deadline: Sea View Magazine will notify you of its decision within a maximum of 20 business days. If the request is approved, it will take effect within 15 business days of the response.
5. Revocation of Consent and Limitation of Use
In addition to ARCO rights, users have the power to revoke consent previously granted for the processing of their data. This is particularly relevant for secondary purposes, such as direct marketing.
- Mailing List Exclusion: Each newsletter sent via Mailchimp includes an “Unsubscribe” link that complies with international privacy regulations and the LFPDPPP.
- Block Push Notifications: Users can manage their notification preferences directly from their browser or mobile device settings, without the need for intervention by the magazine.
